Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 4 Date: 2009-12-23 Summary: Great for a 3 year old not in "school" ... My 3 1/2 year old daughter really likes this book, and does well. I am not happy with the directions on each page, and usually "read" her my own version, but otherwise we like it. She is eager to turn the page and find out what comes next, and these lessons are right on target with her learning capacity/stage. The first few pages are "which is bigger, which match" etc, and this has helped us to identify that our daughter needs work with spatial differences. It has also helped to develop her lines to become straighter ...more

Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-09-15 Summary: The second best to the series ... I'm a wise series follower and in my opinion, this is the second best of the series (after Babywise I). This book gives you details on how a preschooler thinks. I love the introduction of the concept of "conscience". I like how there are sample schedules and the suggested learning activities. It is very resourceful and to the point. You're pretty much building upon the same concepts introduced earlier. I have a well adjusted daughter because of the wise series and love the Ezzo principles of life. ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-10-27 Summary: Book that Helps Parents Take Control of Preschoolers Education ... Always a fan of the "On Becoming..." series, I had to get the preschool book as my oldest daughter moves into this phase of her life. I have found it to be very helpful as I make decisions for the next few years of her life. The authors of this book help to pinpoint some of the reasons why preschoolers behave the way they do, one in particular being that children this age are often given too many choices to make. When it comes time for them to do something they do not want to do, they have difficulty obeying because ...more

[4] Rating: 5 Date: 2006-11-05 Summary: Great Series!! ... The On Becoming Baby Wise series is fantastic. I would recommend them to parents and parents to be. They helped tremendously with our toddler's sleeping habits. We have been following the parent directed feeding method with our newborn and I can see the benefits in just her first four months of life. I want to buy these books for everyone I know who is a parent. I can't thank my neighbors who bought these books for us enough. ...more
