I looked for a while trying to find a 4th of July to read to younger kids that was interesting, had good illustrations and is short enough to keep thier interest. Believe it or not most 4th of July storybooks are somewhat wordy. Then I found this book and my quest had ended. The story follows a young girl through the day and shows different activities that people in her town do for the holiday.
