Not a lot of words and they can talk about the pictures. I heard so much about the "David" books and I brought this one home from the library. I was not immediately won over, but my son LOVES it. I thought the pictures of David were almost scary but the "I love you" at the end makes it all worth while and reminds me to always add that after saying "No!".
