After teaching her colors, shapes, letters and numbers, I found myself struggling to come up with other creative lessons. I like the idea of weekly themes. I pick a theme for the week and every day, we do a little activity from the plans. I really like that there is a list of suggested books that go along with the theme. I am a stay at home mom of a 2 year old and a 3 year old, and was anxious to get some good ideas for teaching with projects to reinforce--this book will be great for that. I am, however, disappointed that under the "Holidays" section, none of the major holidays are covered. I was hoping to get some good seasonal ideas.
